PRINCIPLES
Value of time.
The title says all. Being a punctual person who not only respects other’s time but also expects the same respect in return is an embedded part of my personality. This trait of mine goes beyond appointments, but into project planning and other aspects of my professional life.
Professionalism isn’t a degree.
My father is a design professional who I have always looked up to. From him I learned my core values; Studies can’t match true dedication, honesty and attention to detail.
One never stops learning.
Through my adult life the search for more knowledge of skills and trends has lead my travels and studies. Yet I recognize is an unending trial to stay relevant in both, life as a mentor to my children, co-workers and pupils as well as in my work place.
Do not live to work.
The expression work to live not live to work comes to me as a core principle. Family time, mental time and physical relaxation are life end goals.
Function upfront.
My designs always show the user what its function is so that there’s never a gap between what the user perceives and the design’s capabilities.
Finishing a project is not the end result I focus in.
The full scope of a project is not deemed completed by only sending it out, but is measured by the emotional effect left in the end recipient and the potential propagation of its message from there on.
